 Artist info: Hans-Günther Schütze / painter, graphic artist, illustrator / born 1935 in Dresden, After 3 years of apprenticeship as a commercial artist, he worked for 20 years in the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden. Special exhibitions, series of photographs and anatomical-biological visual materials for health education were among his most important areas of responsibility. He also worked for DEWAG for 13 years, where he was particularly responsible for Germed. , the trade fair of the GDR pharmaceutical industry. Mainly drafts for the exhibition design and brochures were created here. In addition, he illustrated children's books as well as medical science for the Dresden University Clinic. Works specifically in the field of ophthalmology. 
 For further training he attended courses at the adult education center for nude and animal drawing. He worked a lot in agriculture and made animal sculptures and self-portraits.
 He became a member of the VbK and discovered the technique of the monotype for himself.
